Deathly Relics
Cormorant Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.
Holmes and Vernier are in Rome on a diplomatic mission involving London and the Vatican, and the pope asks Holmes if he can help recover one of the most sacred of relics, the forefinger of Saint Thomas, "Doubting Thomas." As an Englishman, Holmes is reluctant to take on such a case, but soon he becomes involved, even as the relic reappears, then disappears again. A link to the Neapolitan Camorra is revealed, and the bodies begin to accumulate. All the murders are sacrilegious in one way or another. The story builds to a climax at one of the most macabre sites in Rome, a crypt under a church stacked with the bones of dead monks.
